Good Company Clubs are all about feeling part of something. Whether you come for the meal, the music or the chat, you’ll find a friendly place to relax, join in and feel at home.

There is something happening most days of the week. That might be a lunch club, a walk, a game of boules or a quiz night. Some clubs are quieter, others are lively, and all are relaxed and friendly.

Our King of Clubs
You might have noticed our club logos look familiar. That’s because author and TV quiz star Richard Osman is a supporter of Good Company and gave us his blessing to borrow the look and names from his bestselling The Thursday Murder Club series.
He loves what we do and shares our belief that friendship, fun and local connection can be life-changing. He really is also as nice and kind as he comes across on the telly and extremely good company.
While there’s no crime to solve at our clubs (unless someone has stolen the last biscuit), we do enjoy the occasional game of Cluedo.
Free to join, simple costs and payment
When you join our Good Company clubs, there is no membership fee and no paperwork on the day, but we do ask all our members to read and sign a simple. agreement. It sets out how Good Company works and what you can expect from us.
Most of our clubs are free and you only pay for food and drink, which is always kept affordable. A typical lunch might be £12 including cake and unlimited tea or coffee.
For occasional outings, we let you know in advance if there is a ticket or entrance fee. We do also need to charge a subsidised price for The Thursday Cinema Club tickets.
If you are able to donate, it helps us keep things going. Donations cover things like music, activities, training and volunteer support. Whether it’s a one-off or regular gift, it makes a real difference.

It has meant so much to both of us to be supported by The Good Company People. You have provided a wealth of encouragement, an understanding listening ear, and have helped us access something that feels like a normal life again.
The activities are very various, offering opportunities for every taste, supported by lovely volunteers. The huge pot of knowledge guides us through the confusing array of facilities on offer by numerous organisations. You give just the right level of information at the required time, not flooding us with pamphlets but through friendly one-to-one advice and accessible documents.
The friendship circles have been a lifeline. They have given me contact with others in similar situations. It is such a benefit to share our ups and downs with people who understand. There is love, support and laughter too.
Above all, I know that whatever my problem, you are just a call away.
The support of Good Company has given us a vision of a positive life ahead and saved us from the downward spiral that can come with the shock of diagnosis. We would have been in a far worse place without the clubs, circles, informative seminars and personal support.

Help is on hand
Every Good Company Club is supported by our trained Hosts and Concierge Team. They are always there during clubs to offer a warm welcome, help people settle in, and make sure everyone is looked after.
Our Concierge Team includes people with personal and professional experience of dementia. They can help with things like booking transport, checking in on how you’re doing, or simply being someone to talk to.
If you’re not sure what would suit you or the person you support, we can help you figure that out. Some people enjoy the busy feel of a club. Others might prefer a smaller group or something quieter. That’s why we also run Circles - friendly support groups where people can meet others going through something similar.
You don’t need to have all the answers. Just get in touch and we’ll take it from there.
